Class 60 locomotive No.60072 'Cairn Toul' arrives at Worcester with the very late running 00.03 Scunthorpe to Brierley Hill steel terminal service (6M26), conveying steel billet as the consist. This train normally arrives at around 05.30 a.m. but was very late on this occasion. After running round in Worcester yard the train then reverses direction in order to head north to Brierley Hill. The reverse process with the empties normally takes place in the late afternoon. This train usually runs three or four times a week. (Thanks to David Pagett for this information).
