The photographs on this page were all taken by Pete Wilcox during the late 1980s.
A tihck blanket of snow covered the sidings at Worcester Depot on 8th March 1987. Anyone unlucky enough to be
working in the former passnger locomotive shed must be regretting that the roof had been removed. Class 122 railcar No.55006 photographed in the centre road at Worcester Shrub Hill Station on 10th May 1987. Class 37 diesel locomotive No.37146 at the south end of Worcester Shrub Hill Station. In the background is a
two-car class 150/0 diesel multiple unit in original livery. The photograph was taken on 9th August 1987. The large numerals on the end of class 47 diesel locomotive No.47207 'The Felixstowe Partnership" leave no doubt as to
the correct identity of the locomotive. Photograph taken on 10th January 1988. Also taken on 10th January 1988, the low winter sun highlights the details of the livery on class 43 'HST 125 power car No.43039 as it glides into Worcester Shrub Hill Station. The remains of the soon to be demolished passenger shed can be seen in the background. Class 47 diesel locomotive No.47489 has charge of an engineering train and was photographed on the viaduct between Worcester
Foregate Street Station and Henwick. Photograph taken on 6th March 1988.
A classic study of a High Speed Train (HST 125) in action on the former Birmingham and Gloucester Railway line. Nos.43017 and 43089 have charge of a service to Bristol and the West Country on 27th May 1989.
