(Page Two)
This page contains four 'foreign locos' ie one's not allocated to sheds in Worcestershire.
This is ex LMSR Fowler class 4F 0-6-0 No.44394 of Saltley shed (21A) with a train of coal wagons. The train has just left the 'down' loop at Abbot's Wood Junction bound for Gloucester.

This ex LMSR 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No.45631 'Tanganyika' was in immaculate external condition when photographed on shed at Worcester. The locomotive was also allocated to Saltley shed (21A).
Standard class 2-6-2 tank engine No.80072 is taking water at Worcester. The locomotive is sporting an 87D shed plate indicating that its home depot was Swansea East Dock but this photograph is probably taken shortly after its transfer to Leamington. It was one of a batch originally allocated to the Eastern Region on the LT&S line but was based at Swansea from July 1962 until August 1963 when it was sent to Leamington.
The final 'foreign' engine on this page is Standard class 9F 2-10-0 No.92137 of Saltley shed (21A) seen at speed with a southbound train of coal wagons at Norton Junction. The train is just about to pass under the Oxford to Worcester line.
