This is a small collection of photographs from the collection of Pete Stamper of Stourbridge.
Great Western Railway "Bulldog " 3300 Class locomotive No.3339 "Marco Polo" photographed outside the Shrub Hill end of the passenger shed at Worcester on 21st Apriil 1935. Less than a year later this double framed 4-4-0 locomotive was withdrawn.
Proudly displaying its 85A (Worcester) shed plate was Castle class" 4-6-0 No.4093 "Dunster Castle, photographed in the shed yard at its home depot. The other Dunster Castle is is owned by the National Trust and is in the village of Dunster, Somerset. The photograph was taken shortly before the locomotive was transferred to Gloucester in 1964.
