In the early days of digital photography, on 11th May 2002, Andrew Smith used a Sony Mavica camera to capture this image of class 67 diesel locomotive No.67019 with a parcel train passing the depot at Saltley. The camera used floppy discs to store the data which meant that discs had to be changed after only six images. Despite the limitations of the 2mp maximum resolution of the camera it was still possible to capture good quality photographs. A class 66 diesel locomotive is stabled on the depot.
