Below is an interesting item of publicity material that was produced by the Western Region of British Railways to advertise cheap day return tickets to the City of Worcester Annual Show that was held at Pitchcroft on 11th and 12th August 1961. Obviously expecting a rush of people coming from up to 50 miles away, the leaflet advises intending passengers to obtain their tickets in advance in order that the railway can provide adequate accommodation.
